Cala del Forte Marina will be amongst the most modern and best-equipped ports of the Mediterranean in the heart of the Riviera. Approximately 320 mooring berths will be available on long-term leasehold or rental.

Following a purchase agreement signed May 12, 2016, by SMIP (Societe Monegasque Internationale Portuaire S.A.M.), the Monaco Ports acquired 100% of Cala del Forte LLP, owner of the concession in Ventimiglia (IM), Italy. The new Port of Ventimiglia, Cala del Forte, located just on the French/Italian border, is scheduled for opening in 2018 and full completion in 2019.

With a concession of 80 years, its new mooring plan berthing yachts up to 60 metres, the complete management of the Ports of Monaco and located only 7.9 nm from the Port Hercule of Monaco, Cala del Forte offers a solid investment opportunity for yacht owners.

The new marina of Cala del Forte in Ventimiglia will be one of the safest and more convenient marinas on the Riviera. With its famous market, excellent restaurants and many shops, Ventimiglia is also a great place to provision and board yachts for long charters.

The proximity to the French Riviera is a real asset for boaters who choose to spend their holidays in our region or on the Italian Riviera, for their climate and unique landscapes. In total there will be 320 berths in sizes from 8.5 meters to 60 meters. The concession is due to expire until 2096 (the longest in the region).

Marina de Cala del Forte Ventimiglia will be a port very close to Monaco. The ideal starting point for sailing along the French Riviera while staying in Italy.
