Allied Yachting Privacy Policy

Leads, Enquiries and Transactions:

For Allied Yachting, any lead, enquiry and transaction of sale, purchase, charter or management of a boat, or any other service we offer, implies a STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL character amongst the parties concerned. Any party involved in a particular lead, enquiry and transaction, whether it be a customer, seller, buyer, charterer or boat owner, collaborative agencies, partners, suppliers, agents, attorneys-in-fact, representatives or others, may also request the signature of a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement prior to each transaction. The particulars of each lead, enquiry and transaction will be disclosed to the appropriate authorities only in the context of an official legal requisition or subpoena. The specifications, particulars or characteristics of each vessel or service are disclosed, published or shared only with the consent of the parties concerned.

Information you provide Allied Yachting directly:

We ask for certain information such as your first & last name, phone number and e-mail address when you contact us via our website online enquiry form, by email, telephone at boat shows or direct contact. We may also collect and retain any messages or further information that you provide us with. We will use this information to operate, maintain and provide our services including: features and functionality of our website, sending marketing material and/or other information that may assist with your purchase, sale, charter or management of a new or pre-owned yacht.

Information we may receive from third parties:

We may receive information about you from third parties. For example, if you access our website through a third-party connection or log-in, like through Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube by “following”, “liking,” adding the Allied Yachting application, linking your account to Allied Yachting, etc., that third party may pass certain information about your use of its service to Allied Yachting. This information could include, but is not limited to, the user ID associated with your account (for example, your Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube ID), an access token necessary to access that service, any information that you have permitted the third party to share with us, and any information you have made public in connection with that service. If you allow us access to your friends list, your friends’ user IDs, and your connection to those friends, may be used and stored to make your experience more social, and to allow you to invite your friends to use our website as well as provide you with updates if and when your friends join Allied Yachting. You may also unlink your third-party account from our website by adjusting your settings on the third-party service.

We may directly collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools and services, to help us measure traffic and usage trends. Keeping your information safe:

Allied Yachting will keep your contact details and other information you have provided, for as long as you require our services. When we no longer require your data and there is no need for us to keep it to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, we will remove it from our systems.

Allied Yachting cares about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through the website. However, Allied Yachting cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Allied Yachting or guarantee that information on the website may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. To enhance your user experience or help us improve and measure our effectiveness, Allied Yachting may embed code from third parties on its website. Examples of such parties may include Facebook, Google, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and others. These third parties may collect information about you including IP address, cookies in ways Allied Yachting does not control. The Allied Yachting Privacy Policy does not apply when we cannot control the activities of third-parties. We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites or services linked to or from our website, including the information or content contained therein. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information we collect by other means (including offline) or from other sources other than through the Allied Yachting website.

Allied Yachting would like to let you know that you have options in relation to the information that we have collected about you.
