Allied Yachting has been operating it’s professional yacht broker services in Cannes since its foundation, with offices at Port Canto on the Boulevard de la Croisette, Nice and the rest of the Mediterranean. Our multilingual team of experienced brokers covers the full spectrum of yacht sales – from pre-owned motor yachts and sailing boats to new-build superyachts and megayachts over 50 metres. Whether you are buying your first yacht on the French Riviera or selling a flagship vessel through a Central Agency agreement, we bring the expertise, the network and the discretion that transactions of this nature demand.
Allied Yachting provides a comprehensive brokerage service tailored to both Buyers and Sellers across the Côte d’Azur, Monaco, the Italian Riviera and the wider Mediterranean.
Listing a yacht for sale on the French Riviera requires more than placing an advertisement. Our brokers conduct a thorough market appraisal, prepare professional marketing documentation, and position your vessel across the industry’s leading platforms – including YachtWorld, boats.com, Yatco, TheYachtMarket and our own extensive proprietary database of qualified Buyers. We work under Central Agency or open listing agreements and operate in strict compliance with IYBA and MYBA standards, applying the standard (but negotiable) 10% commission on the final sale price paid by the Seller.
For Owners of exceptional or rare vessels, a Central Agency appointment ensures maximum commitment from our brokerage team and structured collaboration with co-brokers across Europe and beyond.
Read our guides to sell your boat.
For Buyers, Allied Yachting acts as an independent guide through every stage of the acquisition – from initial specification and market search to sea trial, survey coordination, flag registration and final delivery. We have access to thousands of motor yachts and sailing yachts through the most advanced and up-to-date yacht databases in the industry, including a broad portfolio of listings on the French Riviera, in Cannes, Nice, Antibes and Monaco.
Our brokers specialise in superyachts above 30 metres and megayachts above 50 metres, and we work directly with leading shipyards including Azimut, Benetti, Cantieri di Pisa, The Next Yacht Group (Maiora and AB Yachts), The Italian Sea Group (Admiral, Tecnomar, Perini Navi), the Ferretti Group and others – providing access to new-build opportunities alongside the pre-owned market.
Our Pre-Owned boats.
Allied Yachting maintains direct partnerships with some of the world’s most respected shipyards. For clients considering a new-build project, our brokers provide full project guidance – from shipyard selection and specification development to contract negotiation, build supervision and delivery. We represent Astondoa Yachts, Gianetti Yachts, the Next Yacht Group (Maiora, AB Yachts), and Terranova Explorers across France, Monaco, Italy, Spain and Turkey.
Our New yachts for Sale.
The French Riviera is one of the world’s most active yacht markets, with Cannes, Antibes and Monaco at its centre. Allied Yachting’s position at Port Canto – steps from where the yachts are – gives our brokers an unmatched understanding of the local market: current valuations, Buyer demand, seasonal patterns and the practical realities of vessel transfer in French and Mediterranean waters.
We are members of the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA), the Groupement des Professionnels du Port Canto (GPPC), the Fédération des Industries Nautiques (FIN) and the European Committee for Professional Yachting – professional affiliations that reflect our commitment to ethical, transparent and legally compliant brokerage practice.
Our team is fully multilingual (English, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian) and covers all aspects of the transaction, including legal structure, VAT implications, flag registration and financing options available within the EU.
Q: What areas does Allied Yachting cover as a yacht broker?
Our primary market is the French Riviera – Cannes, Nice, Antibes, Saint-Tropez and Monaco – but we operate across the full Mediterranean, including the Italian Riviera, Tuscany, Ibiza, the Balearic Islands, Turkey, Croatia and Greece. We also have partnership alliances in Portugal, the UK and Florida in the USA.
Q: How much does it cost to use a yacht broker to sell my boat?
Allied Yachting charges a standard (but negotiable) brokerage commission on pre-owned boats of 10% of the final sale price, in line with the industry’s practice. This is paid by the Seller from the gross sales price. The commission is the same whether one or more brokers are involved in the transaction, as any co-broker fee is shared between the parties.
Q: What is the difference between a Central Agency and an open listing?
Under a Central Agency agreement, Allied Yachting is the sole broker authorised by the Owner to list and market the yacht – though other brokers can still introduce Buyers. This generates the highest level of commitment and marketing investment from our team. An open listing allows multiple brokers to market the vessel simultaneously, which can increase exposure but typically results in less dedicated attention per broker.
Q: Can Allied Yachting help with financing a yacht purchase?
Yes. We work with specialized marine finance providers and can advise on the financial and tax structures available for yacht acquisition within the EU, including leasing arrangements and flag-state considerations that may be relevant to your situation.
Q: Do you specialise in superyachts?
Yes. While we handle yacht sales across all size categories, Allied Yachting has particular expertise in superyachts (30m+) and megayachts (50m+), both on the pre-owned market and through our new-build shipyard partnerships.
Our brokers are based at Port Canto in Cannes and in Nice, and are available to discuss your project in trust – whether you are at the earliest stage of consideration or ready to proceed onto a yacht purchase.
