Port Pierre Canto of Cannes – our Home Port

In the heart of the French Riviera, Port Pierre Canto is the second port of Cannes dedicated to sailing activities. Built between 1964 and 1965 is recognized with the Blue Flag since 2008. This is one of the most prestigious marinas on the Côte d’Azur, with capacity for 600 boats from 4 to 90 meters and offering a wide range of services to its customers.

Allied Yachting has established its main office in port Canto of Cannes since 2009 to occupy this strategic location to host and serve its customers. Our company develops its activity of Sale, Brokerage, Charter and Management of Luxury Yachts, new and pre-owned, on the Mediterranean coast from Italy to Monaco, to France and Spain, with recent partnerships in Turkey and the Middle East.

The Modernization and Recent Works

Since she took over management in 2002, the city of Cannes has undertaken extensive modernization work on the port Canto to re-boost the attractiveness of the port.

The port specializes in large-size yachting but the facilities were not really up to its ambitions. A first phase of the works was carried out between 2012 and 2014 including the beautification of the quay of La Croisette; the construction of a new harbor master building, and the optimization of the port’s layout to adapt the marina for the largest superyachts dimensions.

The other major development was the expansion of the Quai Pierre Longue, 5 meters wider, to offer its users a wonderful place to admire the beautiful yachts mooring.

A space that will be named ‘Espace Grand Large’ will attract boaters and families on the port where many activities will be organized, particularly during events (the International Film Festival, Boat Shows, Cannes Yachting Festival).

In the visual and functional continuity of the new harbor master building, in the heart of pedestrian walkways and other port services, the objective is to animate the port and to create a central point of interest. This space will offer a restaurant area with large terrace area and promote the opening of the port to the city.

The modernization of the port and its openness to the city will continue with a second phase of works that will be achieved between 2016 and 2018.

With this second phase of improvements, the Port Canto has taken a decisive step in its consolidation as a prestigious marina on the French Riviera, attractive both for owners of superyachts that require performing installations, but also for all the proud Cannes residents who admire it every day.

Boat Shows

In early September of each year, Cannes becomes the International Luxury Yachting Capital during the Cannes Yachting Festival, in which we actively participate every year.

Port Canto received in the past 7 years, the Brokerage and Charter section of the Yacht Show, where pre-owned sailboats and motor yachts from 22 to 47 meters are exposed by the major brokerage and charter international firms.

The Group of Professionals of Port Canto

Allied Yachting is a member of the Group of Professionals of Port Canto Professional (GPPC), an association created in 2011. The objective of this association is to contribute to the harmonious development of the Port Pierre Canto in Cannes.

At the end of 2010, ten nautical professionals companies are installed on the port Canto. Major projects are being developed since, great ambitions accompany our projects.

Yacht Management

Thanks to our Yacht Management program and our port relations, Allied Yachting can offer its customers, support in applying for preferential berths and mooring for passing ships, seasonal or for the various events in Cannes.

Our company can also provide in the port any service of maintenance, repairs, work, cleaning, yacht supplies and charter embarkation.
