Описание
Located in the heart of the city, the PORT OF NICE, capital of the French Riviera, is a commercial port with a logistics terminal, which also hosts passengers (ferries and cruises), and cohabits with yachting. The basins reserved for recreational boats: Tour Rouje, Lympia basin and part of the Quai d’Entrecasteaux.
The PORT OF NICE consists of a 10-hectare water plan, 7 hectares of land, about ten quays, including six commercial wharves. It is 7 km away from Nice-Côte d’Azur International Airport and a short walk from the city centre.
At the foot of the Castle Hill, the PORT DE NICE (formerly called Lympia port), with Genovese architecture, has 530 berths, 478 of which are allocated to recreational boating (<18 m) and 35 to yachting (> 18 m) accommodating vessels between 18 and 190 m.
The PORT OF NICE is not only a few minutes’ walk from the main tourist attractions, but it is a main port of the South of France, for transit and cruises which became the 2nd French continental port for ship cruises with approximately 500,000 passengers per year, thanks to its Ferry and Cruise ships terminal. For example, up to 7 departures from the PORT OF NICE, are programmed daily for Corsica in the high season.
The PORT OF NICE is a public port managed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), dedicated both to its cruising terminal as well as to yachting. Like all ports of the CCI, it is regulated by the CUNCA (Nice-Côte d’Azur Urban Community) port regulations, without leaseholds.
